Anne Frank-Stage Adaption
It starts off in the year of 1945 but the only thing was that they were just looking at flashbacks. The only times that this Jewish family was allowed to go outside were at 6 p.m until Nazi soldiers left work. The Frank's family was smart because they made where they lived looked like an abandoned place. So how it officially starts is Anne is given her diary by her dad Mr.Frank. You also find out that Mr.Frank's friends Mr.Kraler and Miep are non-Jewish. Since Jewish were prohibited to learn, Miep would teach Anne and Peter how to learn. During the play Mr. and Mrs. VanDaan get in many arguments, and you can tell Mrs.Van Daan likes Mr.Frank because she kind of flirts with him. Than later a new Jewish man Mr.Dussel, who is a dentist and a friend of Mr.Frank, becomes Anne's new roommate. Even tho that Mr.Van Daan isn't the owner of the house, he disagrees that Dussel should stay because then the family will run short in space and food. So as time goes Anne and Dussel's relationship isnt good. Also the family is experiencing a thief because they are missing food! Dussel thinks it was either Carl or Peter. Also Peter and Anne begin to build a very close relationship and share a kiss! After, they found out Mr.Van Daan was the theif and Mrs.Frank turns furious and wants to kick the Van Daan's out. Luckily they weren't kicked out because Anne wanted Peter to stay so they stayed. At the end, the Gestapo's find the Frank's and Van Daan's because the thief that robbed them before snitched and said where they lived, and sent them to concentration camps. Mr.Frank was the only survivor of the family and Anne died of typhus. Mr.Frank published Anne's diary in 1947.
